Job description

Our mission is to provide incredible service and a one-of-a-kind shopping experience to our customers. As a member of the Wine Shop team, you will keep the shelves stocked with the finest wine and beer products, and help customers find the perfect beverage pairings to accompany their meals. If you enjoy interacting with customers, and have a passion for wine and beer, this could be the role for you!

What will I do?

1. Provide incredible service to our customers
2. Share your knowledge to suggest tastings, as well as food and beverage pairings
3. Stock shelves and displays, rotate product
4. Maintain the overall appearance of the department and backrooms

Work Environment

The physical demands of this work are classified as medium. Work includes walking, standing for up to 4 hours without a break, frequent lifting, shelving of product, pushing/pulling a hand truck, climbing, repetitive hand and arm movements, bending, reaching, including reaching and lifting above shoulder height, along with continuous interaction with customers and coworkers. The average weight range of items lifted is 5–40 pounds frequently, with a maximum weight lifted of 50 pounds occasionally. Assistance with heavy items may be available. Upper extremity repetition is moderate to moderately high, and trunk movement involves moderate twisting, bending, and pivoting. You may be exposed to various allergens. The work environment is indoors and may involve exposure to cold temperatures (33–55 degrees). Basic tools and equipment used include box cutters, labels, hand trucks, power industrial trucks, stock pickers, stools, and ladders.
