Job summary

Kroger is seeking a store associate in Wylie, TX to provide exceptional customer service in a safe, clean environment. You will handle shelving, inventory, merchandising, and customer queries while promoting Kroger’s standards of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.

Responsibilities include upselling products, coordinating with vendors, following policies, and assisting with inventory and demonstrations.

• Follow the established uniform and grooming policies.

• Understand and adhere to shrink guidelines.
• Remove merchandise from pallets and sort into groups by stocking area.
• Load merchandise onto carts for shelving in back room or on the sales floor.
• Follow merchandising plans to promote advertised items.
• Engage and upsell products to customers.
• Conduct wine tastings and demos according to the company plan.
• Communicate with vendors to maintain inventory.
• Read shelf and merchandise labels accurately.
