Job summary

Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits, a leading beverage distributor, seeks a Sales Relief Representative to cover sales routes and support Sales Representatives on vacation or leave. You’ll engage customers, drive in-store visibility, and help grow the company’s portfolio at retail accounts.

The role emphasizes execution of POS standards, proper merchandising, and knowledge of our product range. A NYS driver's license and 1+ year sales experience are preferred.

• Minimum of 1 year of sales or applicable experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide coverage of Sales Routes for the purpose of order taking and execution in the absence of Sales Representative.
• Participate in Team Sell Programs to increase visibility and drive sales objectives for the assigned team.
• Build and properly merchandise portfolio product displays.
• Product rotation and freshness of stock displays and shelf space.
• Understand POS standards and execution.
• Manage retailer product locations, maintain a clean and organized back room.
• Identify placement opportunities.
• Execute delivery functions when deemed necessary.
• Continuously expand product knowledge of our portfolio.
• Know competition brands and how to sell against it.
