Job summary

Kentucky Eagle, Inc. in Lexington, KY is seeking a full-time delivery driver to transport and unload products to customer accounts on daily routes, building positive retailer relationships and ensuring accurate invoicing at delivery.

The role requires a valid DOT medical certification, a clean driving record, ability to operate a handheld device, and physical stamina for lifting and loading. No weekends and competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Must have or be able to obtain a DOT medical certification.
• Must have clean driving record acceptable to Company insurance carrier.
• Comply with company policies, procedures and applicable state and federal laws.
• Must be able to operate handheld computer (iPad) and printer.
• Must be able to sit, stand, walk, climb, squat, bend, and twist.
• Must be able to do repetitive lifting of 50 lbs.
• Must be able to operate a two-wheel cart with loads up to 350 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and unload product at customer site. Approx. 20 deliveries per day.
• Verify customer ABC license is valid when making delivery.
• Verify each customer invoice and payment is correct at the retail account.
• Responsible for printing invoice, collecting payment as needed.
• Follow end of day check in processes.
• Perform pre and post trip inspection of the delivery vehicle pursuant to FMCSA requirements.
• Must operate the truck safely and within company, federal and state guidelines.
• Must report any problems, maintenance issues with the delivery vehicle to Operation Supervisor or Fleet Manager.
• Other duties as requested or assigned by management.
