Job summary

Festival Foods in Janesville, WI is seeking a Wine and Spirits Cashier to join our team. You’ll help guests find perfect pairings, operate the register, and maintain the wine and spirits area with friendly, knowledgeable service.

As part of the Wine & Spirits team, you’ll collaborate with department leaders, handle inventory, pricing, and shelving, and ensure a clean, welcoming environment. This part-time role requires 21+ and a customer-focused mindset, with training provided.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age to sample products.
• Ability to deal tactfully and effectively with customers.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Thorough understanding of safety requirements and company safety policies.
• Ability to apply on-the-job safety training and knowledge of equipment handling.

Responsibilities

• Be a Product Guide: Help guests find what they’re looking for, offer recommendations, and take special orders.
• Deliver Great Service: Answer questions, resolve concerns, and ensure every guest leaves feeling supported.
• Support the Team: Work alongside associates and leadership to meet department goals.
• Keep Things Running: Maintain inventory levels, ensure accurate pricing, and stock shelves.
• Operate the Register: Check out purchases with accuracy and a smile.
• Ensure Cleanliness: Maintain a clean, safe, welcoming environment for guests and team members.
• Communicate & Collaborate: Work with vendors, managers, and fellow associates to exceed expectations.
• Honor Commitments: Regular, timely attendance and notice to find a replacement for absences.
