Job summary

Sixty Vines in Plano, TX is seeking a Busser/Food Runner to support servers, bartenders, and the team by maintaining tables, delivering food and drinks, and ensuring guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to read English.
• Stand for long periods; lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Properly use a knife and other equipment required to execute necessary tasks.
• Maintain a current Food Handler's Certification and TABC certification; practice proper sanitation procedures and follow regulations regarding alcohol sales and service.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with guests and coworkers in a positive, friendly, and hospitable manner.
• Arrive on time for scheduled shifts, ready to work.
• Follow proposer uniform guidelines: ironed shirt, black apron, wrinkle-free black pants, slip-resistant shoes, black socks; professional grooming standards.
• Assemble/disassemble workstation promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness of station during shift; Stock and replenish as needed; maintain ice levels for drinks.
• Observe all state and federal laws regarding service of food and alcohol, including certifications.
• Deliver food orders accurately.
• Execute proper food placement and removal at tables; Bus and manicure tables throughout the restaurant.
• Polish silverware and glassware; communicate questions or issues to management.
• Clean and maintain equipment and utensils; report issues to supervisor.
• Communicate and work with coworkers and management in a friendly, enthusiastic manner; follow checklists.
• Follow all safety guidelines set out by the restaurant.
• All bussers/food runners should have complete knowledge of the food and bar menu and host stand procedures.
• Assist servers in tasks necessary to maintain tables and guest satisfaction.
