Job summary

Rack & Riddle is seeking a detail-oriented Samples & Shipping Coordinator to support our Sales team with the preparation, tracking, shipping, delivery, and inventory management of wine samples in California. This part-time role fits a schedule of 15–20 hours weekly, typically Tue, Wed, and Thu, with a fast-paced environment and a strong emphasis on accuracy.

The ideal candidate should have 1–2 years of shipping or warehouse experience, possess a valid driver’s license, and be comfortable

Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail.
Reliable and able to work under limited supervision, checking in on non-routine or unfamiliar situations.
Able to organize and manage multiple tasks, with guidance on shifting priorities.
Quick learner who is comfortable learning new processes and systems.
Professional and courteous demeanor when representing Rack & Riddle and the Sales team.

Responsibilities

Prepare and ship wine samples according to instructions and required timelines.
Print and apply shipping and bottle labels accurately.
Prepare samples for UPS shipments and maintain a daily log of tracking numbers.
Ensure samples are packaged securely and appropriately for shipment.
Understand and manage sample turnaround times, including winemaking timelines.
Coordinate local sample deliveries and intra-company deliveries.
Gather and prepare samples for events based on instructions from the Sales team.
