Job summary

Eataly North America is seeking a Wine Store Sales Associate in Los Angeles to guide guests through wine selections and ensure a smooth shopping experience. You will educate customers on Italian wines, stock and merchandise, and assist with classes under supervision to deliver memorable tastings.

Seasonal role with a potential path to longer-term employment, requiring weekend availability. Prior wine sales experience is preferred, and knowledge of Italian wines is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Wine sale experience preferred.
• Italian wine knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests with wine selection and shopping experience.
• Educate guests about Italian wines and beverages.
• Receive and stock wine and related merchandise; review invoices if needed.
• Rotate, face and replenish wine merchandise on the floor.
• Set up for La Scuola Sip & Savor classes under Beverage Director guidance.
• Open wine for tastings and describe flavor profiles, pairings and winery information.
• Perform other duties as required or assigned.

The Wine Store Sales Associate assists guests with all steps of their shopping experience including: guiding them to products, securing products out of reach, loading heavy items and makingsuggestions. Reports to the Beverage Managers.

• Provides prompt, efficient and friendly guestservice
• Educates guests about Italian Wines, beer and beverages sold at Eataly
• Receives and stocks wine and wine store merchandise, may review invoices
• Rotates, faces and replenishes merchandise
• Executes La Scuola Sip & Savor wine classes under the direction of the Beverage Director
• Sets up for each class including rolling silverware, setting places andgathering materials
• Checks in guests and introduces classes
• Openswineandpoursfor guests
• Describesflavor profile, pairing detail and winery information
• Breaks down after each class
• Performs other duties as required or assigned

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Wine sale experience
• Italian wine knowledgepreferred

Job Requirements

• Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally; exert up to 20 pounds of force frequently; exert up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects
• Ability to exert well-paced mobility for periods up to 4 hours
• Flexible availability, including weekends, preferred

Compensation: Pay range is set at $19 - $20

This is a seasonal position expected to run three months or through the first week of January 2027, with the potential opportunity to become a permanent member of our team!
