Job summary

Eataly is the world’s premier artisanal Italian marketplace. The Wine Store Sales Associate assists guests through the shopping experience, guiding to products, stocking, loading items, and making recommendations.

Reports to the Beverage Managers in charge of wine classes and events. Responsibilities include educating guests on Italian wines and beverages, stocking merchandise, and setting up La Scuola Sip & Savor classes under the Beverage Director.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Italian wine knowledge preferred.

• Breaks down after each class.

Job Description

The Wine Store Sales Associate assists guests with all steps of their shopping experience including: guiding them to products, securing products out of reach, loading heavy items and makingsuggestions. Reports to the Beverage Managers.

• Provides prompt, efficient and friendly guestservice


• Educates guests about Italian Wines, beer and beverages sold at Eataly


• Receives and stocks wine and wine store merchandise, may review invoices


• Rotates, faces and replenishes merchandise


• Executes La Scuola Sip & Savor wine classes under the direction of the Beverage Director


• Sets up for each class including rolling silverware, setting places andgathering materials


• Checks in guests and introduces classes


• Openswineandpoursfor guests


• Describesflavor profile, pairing detail and winery information


• Breaks down after each class


• Performs other duties as required or assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred


• Italian wine knowledgepreferred

Job Requirements

• Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally; exert up to 20 pounds of force frequently; exert up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects


• Ability to exert well-paced mobility for periods up to 4 hours


• Flexible availability, including weekends, preferred

Compensation: Pay range is set at $19 - $20

This is a seasonal position expected to run three months or through the first week of January 2027, with the potential opportunity to become a permanent member of our team!
