Job summary

Cooper’s Hawk Winery and Restaurants is seeking a bartender who brings warmth, knowledge, and craft to every guest interaction. You’re not just serving drinks; you’re delivering experiences worth toasting to.

You’ll stock your station, master our menus, and invite guests to join the Wine Club while maintaining a fast-paced, high-volume service environment. Greet guests, recommend wine and cocktails based on preferences, and educate them about our Wine Club.

Responsibilities

• Arrive prepared with station stocked, garnishes prepped, and tools working
• Maintain full knowledge of menu and steps of service
• Ensure opening and mid-shift checklists are completed for guest readiness
• Educate guests about the Wine Club and invite them to join
• Keep bar area clean and guest-ready; wash and sterilize glassware as needed
• Assist with retail, Wine Club, or other tasks as needed
• Communicate clearly with servers/kitchen to ensure accurate orders and timely service
• Follow recipes and portion standards consistently
• Complete closing duties to prepare for the next shift
• Greet guests warmly and offer thoughtful wine, cocktail, and food recommendations
• Present beverages with attention to detail and expand knowledge of offerings
• Continue learning about wine, cocktails, and Cooper’s Hawk offerings
