Job summary

City Winery Philadelphia is seeking a Service Assistant to support servers and bartenders and ensure a clean, welcoming dining area. You’ll clear, sanitize, reset tables, replenish settings, and assist with opening/closing duties to keep service flowing smoothly.

You will work in a fast-paced environment requiring strong guest service, reliability, and a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Strong work ethic
• 1+ year experience as a Busser or Runner in a fast-paced service environment preferred
• Ability to deliver high-quality guest experiences
• Able to navigate venue conditions (tight spaces, dark room, loud environment)
• Polished presentation
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Physical ability to stand/walk for whole shift and lift up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities

• Provide guest hospitality; clear, clean, and replenish tables and service areas; remove courses and deliver to kitchen; replenish utensils; refill water glasses; remain alert to guest needs
