Job summary

The Craig Stoller Collection is seeking a part-time Gourmet Deli Staff member for the Edna Valley tasting room. You will learn our brands, prepare deli items, and deliver friendly, attentive service in a fast-paced environment.

Experience in food service and wine knowledge are a plus; familiarity with Wine Direct POS is advantageous. Evening, weekend, and event availability is required for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Experience in the food industry or related field preferred.
• Motivated, self-starter with independent work ethic.
• Sales experience and wine knowledge is a plus.
• Knowledge of food safety guidelines.
• Familiarity with Wine Direct POS system advantageous.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible working evenings, weekends, and special events.
• Demonstrated reliability and punctuality; works well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare deli items such as sandwiches, salads, and wraps.
• Serve customers with a friendly and helpful attitude.
• Operate deli equipment efficiently and safely.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deli area.
• Assist with inventory and stock of deli foods and merchandise.
• Handle cash and card transactions accurately when needed.
• Observe dress code and maintain neat personal appearance.
• Support during events and peak times as needed.
