Job summary

Busch’s Fresh Market is hiring for a wine/beer-focused role in Michigan. The position requires 2-3 years in food, wine, or beer, culinary training, and proficiency in merchandising, guest service, and display planning.

The role includes participating in wine tastings, cooking classes, and store events, with a starting wage up to $20.40/hr depending on experience. Daily Pay and 401K with company match are offered.

Qualifications

• 2-3 yrs experience in food, wine or beer.
• Must complete Busch’s Alcohol Beverage Test.
• Culinary training including wine and food pairing.
• Proficient communication and interpersonal skills (written, verbal, listening).
• Proficient merchandising: planning and maintaining displays, inventory, shelf conditions.

Responsibilities

• Promote alcohol beverages through hand selling and education to guests, especially during peak hours.
• Monitor and control inventory with sales reps and merchandisers for correct shelf/display inventory.
• Manage overstock issues and TRP requests to optimize displays.
• Monitor wine vintage dates and beer freshness; flag issues to category manager.
• Assist in display planning and weekly/monthly display programs with Center Store Manager.
• Participate in wine and beer tastings, cooking classes, and other store events.
• Document guest comments to improve service and maintain clean, inviting shelves.
