Job summary

Wilson Creek Winery & Vineyards Inc. in Temecula, CA is seeking a part-time Barback to provide friendly, responsive service and support the bar operations. You will need wine knowledge to relay information to guests and help maintain an organized bar area.

You will also assist servers and cashiers, stock products, and promote wine club memberships and merchandise. Candidates should be at least 21, able to lift 50 pounds, and have basic math skills with cash handling and POS experience.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Able to lift 50 pounds.
• Possess excellent basic math skills and can operate a cash register or POS system.
• Must have excellent guest service skills with professional appearance and outstanding communication skills.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must obtain a Riverside County Food Handler’s Card within seven (7) days of hire.
• Must obtain a RBS Certificate within thirty (30) days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, responsive service to guests.
• Have strong knowledge of wine list and relay information to guests.
• Set up and take down bar.
• Assist guests and staff with case carry outs.
• Stock products and ensure display is accessible.
• Assist servers and cashiers with bar or guest needs.
• Build rapport with guests to ensure retention.
• Sell wine club memberships, wine products, featured wines, and merchandise.
