Job summary

Reyes Beverage Group is seeking a field-based sales professional in Tehachapi, CA. The role supports off-premise accounts and sells our beverage portfolio, including Modelo, Coors Light, Lagunitas, and premium spirits and wines.

The position is full-time with an early morning shift and a Monday–Friday schedule. Pay is $25.00 per hour with eligibility for overtime and monthly incentives; a Monthly Car and Mileage Reimbursement program is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or HS with 3–5+ years of related experience.
• Must have valid driver license and reliable car.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and handle keg product.
• Sales or field-based experience in beverages is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales goals within monthly objectives and grow new business.
• Execute sales plans and promotions at retail, coordinating displays and promotions.
• Maintain product quality control and date standards.
• Plan and conduct regular sales visits to accounts.
• Manage inventory to minimize stockouts and ensure product freshness.
• Monitor product placement and shelf impact and adjust as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Field based position supporting off premise accounts selling the entirety of our Reyes Beverage Group portfolio - including brands like: Modelo, Coors Light, Lagunitas, with a special concentration on our Spirits and Wine portfolio with brands like Gallo, Tito's, Jack Daniels, as well as our Sazerac portfolios.

Position Responsibilities:

• Achieve sales goals within assigned timeframes that meet monthly business objectives while actively acquiring new business and maintaining established distribution
• Accomplish timely and productive execution of sales plans and promotions at retail, securing trade support by communicating pricing and product promotions, coordinating use of product displays and point-of-sale materials, promotional events and other product promotion opportunities
• Maintain compliance with Quality Control and product code date standards
• Plan and conduct regular sales visits to accounts
• Manage accurate inventory levels to minimize out-of-stock and out-of-code issues
• Monitor product placement and rotation in both selling and storage areas to ensure freshness and maximize shelf impact
• Other projects or duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree with 0 to 2 years of related experience or High School Diploma/General Education Diploma with 3 to 5 plus years of specific experience
• Must be at least 21 years of age or meet minimum state legal age requirements.
• Must have reliable automobile transportation, maintain an acceptable driving record and valid driver license, and maintain auto insurance coverage at least to the minimum amount specified by the Company and state law.
• The employee must be able to lift products from 25 lbs. to 50 lbs. on a regular basis and up to 175 lbs. when handling keg product.
