Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Windows Systems Administrator to support mission critical infrastructure for the U.S. Navy Fleet Command in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.

You will administer Windows server environments supporting enterprise infrastructure, standardized desktop services, and secure mission operations. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of relevant experience; or Master's with 6+ years.
• Active TS/SCI clearance (in DISS).
• Active CompTIA Security+ certification.
• Active Windows Server OS certification or ability to obtain after hire.
• Extensive experience administering enterprise Windows environments: AD, DNS, DHCP, Exchange, Azure, Remote Desktop Services, VMware, Omnissa, desktop management, Windows Server services.
• Experience performing advanced system troubleshooting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer and manage advanced Windows Server environments and Microsoft enterprise services.
• Maintain daily system operations by monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving issues affecting servers, applications, and operating systems.
• Perform performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization for reliable system performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex Windows Server issues.
• Research, document, and recommend new system technologies and improvements.
• Review and implement IAVAs/IAVBs.
• Install, configure, secure, maintain, document, troubleshoot, and administer SQL databases to ensure optimal performance.
• Support global operations by maintaining secure, resilient Windows infrastructure environments.
• Travel may be required to support other U.S. Navy commands CONUS and OCONUS.
