Job summary

ASRC Federal is seeking a Windows Systems Administrator to support the Naval Research Lab at the Blossom Point Tracking Facility in Welcome, MD. The role involves Windows Server and Desktop support within a LAN/WAN/Cloud environment, plus maintenance of network devices and security-focused administration.

The successful candidate will install/configure Windows systems, manage patches, monitor backups, and assist with inventory and incident response.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field with up to 2 years of experience.
• DoD 8570.a compliance required; professional certifications (Security+ etc.) desirable.
• Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and deploy Windows servers and desktops.
• Maintain and troubleshoot network printers.
• Periodic performance reporting for capacity planning.
• Track IT inventory including desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
• Ensure hardware and software assets are recorded and documented.
• Apply OS and application patches per DoD guidance and upgrade tools.
