Job summary

ASRC Federal is seeking a Windows Systems Administrator to support Naval Research Lab operations at Blossom Point Tracking Facility in Welcome, MD. The role focuses on Windows server/desktop administration, network device maintenance, and security monitoring in a LAN/WAN/Cloud environment.

The candidate will work under DoD and project guidance, applying patches, upgrades, and configurations while maintaining asset inventories and providing timely user support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• Experience with Windows servers and workstation administration.
• Demonstrated knowledge of TCP/IP networking and security.
• Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance.
• DoD 8570 compliance required; Security+ is required.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure and deploy Windows servers and desktops.
• Maintain network devices and perform routine troubleshooting.
• Provide user support and incident response for IT systems.
• Monitor security and apply DoD guidelines and STIGs.
• Track hardware, software assets and perform backups.
