Job summary

Arcfield is seeking a System Administrator to manage a large Windows server environment (2019/2022/2025) and allied Microsoft and third‑party apps. You will implement hardening, clustering, Azure cloud management, and data-center operations while maintaining backups and security compliance.

The role requires active certificates, 2–4 years of Windows experience, and the ability to obtain a secret clearance. You will work independently on projects, support VDI deployments, and document procedures,

Qualifications

• Requires MCITP-Server Administrator certification for Windows 2019/2022/2025
• Requires CompTIA Security+ with CE
• Develops and implements procedures and documentation
• Demonstrates attention to detail in system configurations
• Experience with Windows 10/11 and Linux OS
• Designs and deploys VDI environments
• Follows DISA STIG security guidelines
• Familiar with Fibre and iSCSI SAN storage
• Manages VMware ESX/VirtualCenter deployments
• Experience with Splunk logs and monitoring
• Writes and executes PowerShell scripts
• Knowledge of Rubrik backup software
• 2–4 years Windows tech experience (2019/2022/2025)
• Ability to obtain/maintain secret clearance

Responsibilities

• Manage a large Windows server environment and related apps in compliance with cyber security guidelines
• Develop and enforce Group Policy and server hardening
• Implement Microsoft clustering and Azure cloud management
• Oversee data center and rack operations
• Plan design and support for Azure cloud environments
• Handle backup/restore processes and disaster recovery
• Administrate VMware ESX and VirtualCenter
• Monitor with Splunk and automate via PowerShell
• Maintain storage networks including Fibre and iSCSI
• Ensure security requirements and system documentation
