Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, IT, Engineering, or STEM preferred.
• Experience administering Windows operating systems and enterprise IT environments.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server or other relational databases.
• Experience writing SQL queries and maintaining databases.
• Working knowledge of PHP and PHP-based applications.
• Familiarity with Windows Server administration.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work with customers in a professional service environment.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced technical setting.
• Active Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and support Windows-based server/workstation environments.
• Install, configure, patch, and troubleshoot OS, enterprise software, and server apps.
• Provide day-to-day systems administration for prod/dev/test environments.
• Monitor performance, availability, and security for mission-critical systems.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, database, and network issues.
• Participate in upgrades, modernization, and process improvements.
• Develop and troubleshoot SQL databases, write/optimize queries and stored procedures.
• Support PHP-based web applications and internal business systems.
• Perform routine updates, config changes, and deployments.
• Assist with testing new software releases prior to deployment.
• Assist with user accounts, permissions, AD administration, and access control.
• Interface with government customers to gather requirements and provide service.
• Collaborate with system admins, developers, DBAs, and network engineers.
• Support backup and disaster recovery processes; ensure data integrity.
• Coordinate with cybersecurity to maintain DoD compliance and STIGs.
• Participate in vulnerability remediation and system hardening.
• Document configurations, procedures, issues, and resolutions.
• Maintain inventory and system documentation.
