Job summary

Epic’s campus in Madison, WI hosts a Windows Server Engineering role focused on designing, deploying, and operating secure, scalable application delivery platforms for Epic staff, customers, and global training programs.

The engineer blends hands‑on infrastructure work with automation and security hardening, collaborating across teams to support a growing, complex set of services. Relocation assistance is provided on joining our team.

Qualifications

• Experience deploying and supporting Windows Server-based application infrastructure.
• Experience with web application hosting (IIS) and remote application platforms (Citrix).
• Scripting or programming proficiency; PowerShell is a plus.
• Exposure to CI/CD deployment processes.
• Eligibility to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship and COVID-19 vaccination.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and operate application delivery platforms.
• Build and maintain secure, scalable Windows-based infrastructure for Epic training environments and hosted client systems.
• Advance automation and security hardening; collaborate with cross-team stakeholders.
