Job summary

Epic’s Windows Server Engineering team on our Madison campus is seeking a talented engineer to design, deploy, and operate secure Windows-based infrastructure that powers internal staff, customers, and global training programs.

This role blends hands-on infrastructure engineering with automation, security hardening, and CI/CD practices, requiring collaboration across teams to support a growing and increasingly complex set of services.

Qualifications

• Experience deploying and supporting Windows Server-based application infrastructure.
• Experience with web application hosting (IIS) and remote application platforms (Citrix).
• Proficiency with scripting or programming; PowerShell experience is a plus.
• Exposure to CI/CD deployment processes.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and excellent customer service.
• Eligibility to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
• COVID-19 vaccination.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and operate Windows-based infrastructure to support Epic training environments and hosted client systems.
• Automate and harden security configurations across systems.
• Collaborate with cross-team groups to support complex service delivery.
