Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Windows Server Administrator to join our Windows Server Operations team. As a member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the stability, security, and performance of our Windows infrastructure, which is essential to supporting our company's mission of serving those who serve and protect us. Your expertise will enable us to:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and maintain Windows Servers, including server provisioning, monthly patching, and assisting customers with their server needs
  • Ensure compliance with industry-leading security standards, including DoD STIGs, CIS Benchmarks, and IA Vulnerability Management (IAVM)
  • Write and debug PowerShell scripts for system administration tasks
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues and implement practical solutions
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system diagrams, configuration guides, and troubleshooting procedures
  • Develop and maintain Windows Server policies and configuration baselines
  • Maintain virtualized Windows servers, utilizing both Hyper-V and ESXi
  • Migrate data from legacy systems to modern platforms, ensuring data integrity and a smooth transition while collaborating with key stakeholders
  • Stay up to date with the latest technologies and trends, proactively seeking to expand knowledge and skills through self-study and other training

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
  • 8+ years of experience in Windows Server Operations with HS Diploma, OR 6+ years of experience with AA, OR 4+ years of experience with BS
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex problems, propose practical solutions, and manage incidents
  • In-depth knowledge of Windows Server (2016, 2019, 2022)
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Experience with Tanium is strongly preferred
  • Experience with Windows Failover Clustering and load balancing
  • Strong understanding of core networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, routers, switches, firewalls, and VLAN segmentation
  • Working knowledge of Dell PowerEdge servers
  • Experience with technical and process automations utilizing tools such as Tanium, Aria Operations, Dell OpenManage, and/or PowerShell

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $86460 - $146982

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
