DTG Consulting Solutions, Inc. is seeking an IT Security Engineer with a strong Windows engineering background to join a global team dedicated to securing IT platforms.

The role combines hands-on technical work, consultancy, and security influence across our IT group, prioritizing remediation and scalable controls. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in Windows security technologies, vulnerability management, and automation, helping to automate workflows and guide strategic security

Qualifications

• Proficient in securing Windows OS platforms and resolving complex technical issues.
• Hands-on experience with Windows security technologies including application control, host-based firewalls, auditing and event monitoring, and disk encryption.
• Administration of endpoint security and vulnerability management solutions: antivirus, anti-malware, EDR, vulnerability scanning, and patch management.
• Knowledgeable about security best practices including operating system hardening, privileged access management, and vulnerability mitigation.
• Understanding of common threat tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) and effective countermeasures.
• Strong familiarity with Windows core infrastructure services (AD/EntraID, PKI).
• Automation-focused security practices and security tooling awareness.
• PowerShell skills and automation-first approach to security controls.
• Cross-platform security engineering experience (Mac or Windows).

Responsibilities

• Proactively proposing, designing, testing, implementing, and documenting strategic security control.
• Coordinating and delivering security solutions across IT platforms while identifying opportunities to automate workflows.
• Building security controls that scale, investigating emerging threats, developing new security tooling, and driving vulnerability management.
• This role sits within IT Engineering and will monitor and manage our environment across a distributed computing landscape.
