The role emphasizes Microsoft security tooling (Defender ATP, Azure Security Center) and collaboration with cross-functional teams to maintain a strong security posture. Requires extensive experience in IT security and secure software practices.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of IT security experience including policy development and regulatory compliance.
• Hands-on with enterprise system administration across multiple OSes.
• Experience with security metrics and incident response plans.

Responsibilities

• Identify and mitigate threats to IT infrastructure; implement security technologies.
• Lead risk assessments and ensure adherence to security policies and procedures.
• Design and maintain Microsoft security solutions across the university environment.
• Coordinate with IT teams to apply security best practices and patches.
• Provide security input during software development lifecycle and architecture reviews.
• Educate stakeholders and lead pre- and post-assessment meetings.
