A leading IT consulting firm is seeking senior level application packagers to assist on an ongoing contract project. Applicants should have a minimum of 7 years of experience in packaging applications and updates using tools such as Flexera Admin Studio and Install Shield. Experience with VMware ThinApp and a solid understanding of Microsoft Windows installation processes is essential. Qualifications

Overview

Our client's IT Department is seeking senior level application packagers on a contract basis to assist on an ongoing project. The Application Packagers will need to work on a contract basis in Cleveland, Ohio and/or Rhode Island.

Responsibilities

• Minimum of 7 years’ recent experience packaging applications and application updates using Flexera Admin Studio, Install Shield and Workflow Manager
• Experience with VMware ThinApp
• A thorough understanding of how applications install on the Microsoft Windows platforms
• Knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft Registry and ability to query or modify settings
• Knowledge of MS Windows server and desktop operating systems
• Ability to develop and maintain accurate and comprehensive IT documentation
• Excellent communication skills
