Cylake is seeking an exceptional Windows kernel engineer to design and build low-level endpoint infrastructure and telemetry across Windows environments. You will work on kernel-mode and user-mode components, focusing on robust, production-grade systems in security-sensitive contexts.

The role requires deep Windows internals knowledge, driver development experience, and expert C/C++ skills. This position emphasizes concurrency, memory management, and secure OS design in a fast-paced team.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience building low-level Windows systems software.
• Deep expertise in Windows kernel architecture and NT internals.
• Experience developing Windows kernel drivers (WDM/WDF).
• Strong knowledge of process, thread, memory, and object management.
• Expert-level C/C++ programming skills and kernel debugging.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop production-quality Windows kernel drivers using WDM/WDF.
• Build kernel instrumentation and telemetry pipelines for endpoint visibility.
• Develop high-performance process, thread, and image lifecycle tracking.
• Implement scalable kernel callback infrastructure.
• Design lock-efficient kernel data structures and synchronization strategies.
• Build reliable user/kernel communication mechanisms.
• Debug complex concurrency, synchronization, and memory issues.
