Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Senior Windows Infrastructure Engineer to lead the administration, maintenance and optimization of Windows Server environments. You will act as the primary escalation point for Level 3 incidents, performing root-cause analysis and long-term resolutions.

The role requires strong AD/GP, security hardening, and automation experience, plus hands-on AWS/Azure hybrid cloud operations. You will mentor engineers while driving modernization across the infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of enterprise Windows infrastructure experience.
• Experience with AD, GP, authentication services, and identity management.

Responsibilities

• Lead administration, maintenance, and optimization of Windows Server infrastructure.
• Serve as primary escalation point for Level 3 incidents and root-cause analysis.
• Manage and support AD, Group Policy, authentication, and identity management.
• Drive vulnerability remediation, security hardening, patching, and compliance.
• Design and maintain automation using PowerShell and IaC.
• Support hybrid cloud environments across AWS and Azure, including migrations.
• Troubleshoot Windows performance, storage, filesystems, and networking.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers.
