Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking an experienced Windows Infrastructure Engineer to lead administration of Windows Server environments and drive automation across on‑premises and hybrid cloud platforms.

You will resolve complex incidents, manage identity services, and advance security and compliance initiatives. The role requires hands-on expertise with PowerShell, patch management, and cross‑team collaboration, with a focus on reliability and modernization of the enterprise infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5–6 years of relevant experience in Windows infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Lead administration, maintenance, and optimization of Windows Server infrastructure for high availability, performance, and reliability.
• Serve as primary escalation point for Level 3 incidents, driving root cause analysis and long-term resolution.
• Manage and support Active Directory, Group Policy, authentication services, and identity management solutions.
• Drive vulnerability remediation, security hardening, patching, and compliance initiatives across enterprise environments.
• Design, develop, and maintain automation solutions using PowerShell and infrastructure automation frameworks.
• Support hybrid cloud environments across AWS and Microsoft Azure, including migrations and cloud operations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve Windows performance, storage, networking, and infrastructure issues.
• Provide technical leadership, mentor junior engineers, and drive modernization across the infrastructure platform.
