Job summary

Conduent is seeking a senior Windows Infrastructure Engineer to design, deploy, and manage enterprise Windows environments across on-premises, VMware, Hyper-V, and cloud platforms. Windows Infrastructure Engineer

About the Role

Seeking a senior Windows Infrastructure Engineer with strong Windows Server, SQL, VMware, Hyper-V, Azure, AWS, networking fundamentals, and PowerShell automation experience. Must have enterprise infrastructure delivery experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work across infrastructure, application, and architecture teams in a fast‑paced environment.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of enterprise infrastructure engineering experience.
• Strong experience with Windows Server administration and enterprise infrastructure platforms.
• Current experience supporting Windows, SQL, and cloud‑based environments.
• Experience with automation and script development (PowerShell preferred).
• Experience with VMware, Hyper‑V, Oracle VM (OVM), Azure, and AWS.
• In-depth understanding of networking fundamentals, including: TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, SSL/TLS, OpenSSL, BIND, Sendmail
• Experience designing and supporting highly available and resilient infrastructure solutions.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills with a professional approach to complex technical challenges.
• Ability to prioritize and execute effectively in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
• Experience supporting containerized or cloud‑native platforms.
• Microsoft Azure, AWS, VMware, or related certifications.
• Experience with disaster recovery and business continuity solutions.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.

In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. The estimated salary range for this role is $85,470 - $111,000.
