VALCE T@lent Solutions is seeking a seasoned Windows desktop migration specialist to execute migrations per factory playbooks, validate end-user functionality on NDS.Next desktops, and perform comprehensive testing. You will troubleshoot across Windows and applications, document updates, and provide structured reporting on status, risks, and blockers, leveraging Azure and Python/Java automation as needed.

The role requires 5–8 years in tech, 3+ years in migrations, and excellent communication

Formación

• 5 to 8 years of overall technology experience.
• 3+ years of Windows desktop migration experience, including planning and post-migration resolution.
• Strong familiarity with Windows desktop environments and application behavior.
• Proficiency in cloud connectivity (Azure preferred) and access management.
• Proficiency in Python or Java for automation and diagnostics.
• Strong debugging and problem isolation using logs and configurations.
• Strong application testing knowledge, including test design and regression.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong personal project management skills.
• AI-assisted troubleshooting or automation concepts.
• Prior application development experience.
• Fluency in English.

• Validate end-user functionality on NDS.Next desktops including M365 Suite, firmwide common applications, and line-of-business tools
• Perform application testing, defect reproduction, and regression checks before and after migration
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across Windows, applications, and desktop environment configurations
• Write clear user updates and technical notes while managing expectations
• Provide structured reporting on assigned workload, including status, risks, and blockers

Requirements

• 5 to 8 years of overall technology experience
• At least 3 years of Windows desktop migration experience (planning, cutover, validation, and post-migration resolution)
• Strong familiarity with Windows desktop environments and application behavior
• Proficiency in cloud application connectivity (Azure preferred) and access management
• Proficiency in Python or Java for automation and diagnostics

Preferred Qualifications
