Boeing Intelligence & Analytics seeks a Windows Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and manage Windows-based cloud infrastructure across public, private, and hybrid clouds. You will architect scalable Windows solutions, ensuring high availability, security, and optimal performance of Windows workloads in cloud environments.

Required: 8+ years in cloud engineering or related field; TS/SCI with CI Polygraph; strong Azure and Windows Server expertise; PowerShell automation; AD/identity management;

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering roles or a related field with similar scope.
  • Bachelor’s degree may be substituted for 4 years of experience and a Master’s for 6 years.
  • TS/SCI with an active CI Polygraph.
  • Expert knowledge of Windows Server (2016/2019/2022).
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Azure services and architecture.
  • PowerShell scripting and automation.
  • Knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and identity management.
  • Understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, load balancing).
  • Experience with virtualization technologies (Hyper-V, VMware).
  • Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes on Windows).
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools (ARM, Terraform, Bicep).
  • Willingness and ability to work flexible schedules, including potential shift work.

Job description

BI&A is seeking a Windows Cloud Engineer who designs, implements, and manages Windows-based cloud infrastructure and services across public, private, and hybrid cloud environments. The role is responsible for architecting scalable Windows solutions in cloud platforms, ensuring high availability, security, and optimal performance of Windows workloads.

Experience and Qualifications:

To be eligible for this demanding position, the ideal candidate should demonstrate the following experience and qualifications:

Required Education and Years of Experience:
  • 8 Years of experience in Cloud Engineering roles or a highly related field of work with similar scope and responsibilities.
  • A Bachelor’s degree may be substituted for 4 years of experience and a Master’s Degree may be substituted for 6 years of experience.

  • AWS or GCP certifications for Windows workloads
  • Experience with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) or Citrix
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)
  • Experience with monitoring tools (Azure Monitor, Datadog, Splunk)
  • Understanding of compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, HIPAA)
  • Experience with disaster recovery and business continuity planning

Summary Pay Range:

Please note that the information shown below is a general guideline only. Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

$104,000 - $126,000

The position is contingent upon program award.
