Job summary

Boeing Intelligence & Analytics is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to lead a team delivering 24/7 support for computer systems and networks in Denver. You will oversee help desk services and possibly data centre operations while ensuring rapid issue resolution within SLAs.

The role requires 10+ years in systems administration, TS/SCI with active CI Polygraph, and strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, Linux, and ITSM tools. Flexibility for shift work may be needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree may be substituted for 4 years of experience; Master's for 6 years.

Experience And Qualifications

To be eligible for this demanding position, the ideal candidate should demonstrate the following experience and qualifications:

Required Education And Years Of Experience
  • 10 Years of experience in Systems Administration roles or a highly related field of work with similar scope and responsibilities.
  • A Bachelor's degree may be substituted for 4 years of experience and a Master's Degree may be substituted for 6 years of experience.
Required Qualifications
  • TS/SCI with an active CI Polygraph
  • Strong understanding of computer systems, networks, servers, and end-user technologies
  • Knowledge of Windows, macOS, and/or Linux operating systems
  • Familiarity with help desk ticketing systems and IT service management (ITSM) tools
  • Understanding of network protocols, email systems, firewalls, and backup solutions
  • Experience with Active Directory, virtualization, and cloud technologies
  • Willingness and ability to work flexible schedules, including potential shift work
Desired Qualifications
  • Industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA Server+, Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator, Red Hat Certified System Administrator)
  • Proven leadership and team management abilities
  • Strong customer service orientation and communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical capabilities
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage competing demands
  • Experience with ITSM platforms (ServiceNow, Remedy, Jira Service Management)
  • Data center management experience
