Made in the Shade - North OKC is seeking a dependable installer/handyman to join our local franchise team. You will measure, install, and troubleshoot window treatments in customers’ homes, delivering a clean, professional finish.

Candidates should have 2+ years carpentry or handyman experience, valid driver’s license, the ability to lift 50 lbs, and a customer-service mindset. Training on motorization and apps is included.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of handyman or general carpentry experience required.
• In-home window covering installation experience is a bonus.
• Detail-oriented, punctual, and customer-service focused.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and work on ladders and stairs.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Arrive on time and prepared with the right tools and materials.
• Measure and install window treatments accurately for a clean finish.
• Troubleshoot install issues and resolve them professionally.
• Protect customer homes and leave the workspace clean.
• Care for provided tools and equipment.
• Stay current on products and installation best practices, including programming motorization and apps.
