Job summary

Renewal by Andersen is seeking a Window Carpentry Measure Technician in Savannah, GA to verify measurements and assess labor/materials for window replacements. You will provide cost-effective installation solutions and ensure customer satisfaction while adhering to Renewal standards.

Qualifying candidates have 2-3 years in carpentry/remodeling and window installation experience, with strong communication and organizational skills. A valid driver's license and ability to use an iPad are required.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of carpentry, finishing and/or remodeling experience.
• Window installation and measuring experience.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Visit jobs sold by the sales staff to verify measurements and assess labor/material needs.
• Provide installation solutions that meet customer expectations for cost-effective window replacement.
• Identify situations that could affect customer expectations and outcomes.
• Maintain knowledge of construction basics and installation techniques.
• Follow Renewal processes and standards.
• Document measurements and job circumstances accurately and promptly.
• Aim for customer satisfaction by obtaining approval for proposed solutions or alternative installation methods.

Window Carpentry Measure Technician

Responsibilities

• Visit jobs sold by the sales staff to verify accurate measurements and assessment of labor/materials
• Provide installation solutions that match our customer's expectations of a cost effective, installed, window replacement
• Recognize situations that would impact customer's expectations
• Maintains a thorough knowledge of construction basics and installation
• Understands and adheres to the established Renewal processes and standards
• Provide accurate measurements and documentation of job-related circumstances in a timely fashion
• Strive for customer satisfaction by ensuring that customers accept proposed solutions and/or alternate installation techniques

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of carpentry, finishing and/or remodeling experience.
• Window installation/measuring experience
• Strong communication skills; clear and readable written documents and messages
• Mechanical aptitude
• A valid driver's license
• Good organizational skills
• Ability to navigate an iPad
