Job summary

West Shore Home in Buffalo, NY is seeking a Window and Door Installer to join our field team. The role starts early, with a 6:30 AM finish, and involves on-site installations of replacement windows and exterior doors, plus finishing trim and clean-up.

The successful candidate will load materials, travel to customers, greet and build rapport, and handle paperwork and payments. A valid license and tools experience are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in carpentry, remodeling, or construction settings.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation needed.
• Must have a smartphone or smart device to log into required systems using two-factor authentication.

Responsibilities

• Arrive at the warehouse by 6:30 AM to load materials and trucks.
• Travel to the customer’s home, greet them, and establish rapport.
• Remove existing window/door space, install replacements, and trim.
• Clean up thoroughly, showing care for the customer’s home.
• Collect paperwork and payment, then return to the warehouse.

Schedule: Monday - Friday with a start time of 6.30AM

Purpose Of Position

The Installer will assist in performing safe and effective installations following all Company standard operating procedures (SOPs) and PPE protocol while providing customers with a 5-star experience.

Compensation

• The approximate hourly for this position is $20-$22 per hour. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location of the position.

Key Role Accountabilities

• Arrive at warehouse by 6:30 AM to load materials and trucks
• Travel to customer’s home, greet them, and establish rapport
• Remove existing window/door space, install replacement windows and exterior doors, and replace trim
• Clean up thoroughly, showing care for the customer’s home
• Collect paperwork and payment, then return to warehouse

Minimum Requirements

• Experience in carpentry, remodeling, plumbing, construction – or a hunger to learn!
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation
