Job summary

West Shore Home in Boston, MA is hiring a Window and Door Installer to perform safe, high-quality installations, starting early at 6:30 AM and traveling to customer homes. You will remove old openings, install replacements, and finish with a clean, professional presentation.

Qualifications

• Experience in carpentry, remodeling, plumbing, or construction is required or a strong willingness to learn.
• Familiarity with basic hand and power tools is expected.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for job site travel.

Responsibilities

• Arrive at the warehouse by 6:30 AM to load materials and trucks.
• Travel to customer homes, greet customers, and establish rapport.
• Remove existing window/door spaces, install replacements, and trim.
• Clean up thoroughly, showing care for the customer’s home.
• Collect paperwork and payment, then return to the warehouse.

Position: Window and Door

Location: Boston, MA

Schedule: Monday-Friday with a start time of 6:30AM

Purpose Of Position

The Installer will assist in performing safe and effective installations following all Company standard operating procedures (SOPs) and PPE protocol while providing customers with a 5-star experience.

Key Role Accountabilities

• Arrive at warehouse by 6:30 AM to load materials and trucks
• Travel to customer’s home, greet them, and establish rapport
• Remove existing window/door space, install replacement windows and exterior doors, and replace trim
• Clean up thoroughly, showing care for the customer’s home
• Collect paperwork and payment, then return to warehouse

Compensation

• The approximate hourly for this position is $21-$24 per hour. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location of the position.
• $1,000 Signing Bonus! Sign-on bonus is paid in two installments: $500 after 30 days and $500 after 90 days of continuous employment. Eligibility requirements and additional terms apply.

Minimum Requirements

• Experience in carpentry, remodeling, plumbing, construction – or a hunger to learn!
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation
• Must have a valid smart phone or smart device in order to log into Company required systems using two-factor authentication
