Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Production Associate 1 for our Kentucky facility. This role involves fabricating and assembling window components, operating hand tools, and moving products through the production line.

You will participate in cross-training and adhere to safety guidelines while contributing to on-time production goals. The position offers full-time hours with benefits; prior experience in fabrication or assembly is a plus, but training is provided.

Qualifications

• Ability to measure lengths accurately to 1/32”
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and unit conversions
• Ability to read and interpret statistics and productivity data
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
• Capable of using computerized equipment

Responsibilities

• Operate hand tools to assemble window units
• Lift windows onto build tables and roller racks
• Move carts in and out of production area
• Operate saws to cut wood for mull units
• Apply hardware using the appropriate tooling
• Utilize production reports to assist in production planning
• Perform quality audits to ensure product quality
• Participate in cross-rotation with other operators
• Assist training of other employees
• All other tasks as assigned by the Supervisor
