Job summary

Yoder's Building Supply in Fair Play, SC is seeking a Window & Door Service Technician who enjoys hands-on work, problem solving, and delivering excellent customer service.

You will inspect, troubleshoot, repair and install door hardware and glass on residential windows and doors, read diagrams, and communicate with customers to ensure satisfaction.

Ideal candidates are mechanically inclined, dependable, and eager to learn; experience is helpful but training is available.

PURPOSE:

We are currently seeking a Window & Door Service Technician to join our team! This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands, solving problems, and providing excellent customer service. The right candidate will be dependable, mechanically inclined, and eager to learn.

Experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person!

DUTIES AND RESPONDSIBILITIES:

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair residential windows and doors.




• Identify operational issues and make necessary adjustments to ensure proper functionality.




• Install, adjust, and replace door hardware.




• Replace glass and perform other window and door repairs as needed.




• Read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and manufacturer instructions.

WORK SCHEDULE:

• Monday - Friday




• Start Time: 7:30 AM




• Typical workdays average 8-10 hours.
