Nidec Drives in Lexington, TN is hiring for Wind and Connect on 2nd shift. Starting rates include Skilled Labor at $24.92 plus sign-on bonus or Production at $21.20, with increases every 3 months until year one. Shift premiums apply and benefits begin Day 1.

The role involves operating equipment and assembling windings in electrical motors, with a high school diploma or GED required. Typical shifts are 7:00am–3:30pm for 1st shift, 3:30pm–10:30pm for 2nd shift, and 10:30pm–7:00am for 3rd shift,

Qualifications

• Requires ability to read and write and follow work orders and specific instructions.
• Education requirement is a High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Properly prepares cores to receive wiring.
• Properly installs all individual parts including wires, slot winders, coil separators and topsticks.
• Installs phase sheets or felts, thermocouples or RTD, taps and taps.
• Ensures proper material, assembly techniques and tolerances are being met.
• Makes general decisions as to quality of products and adjustments.
• Observes good safety practices and keeps the work area clean.
