Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Monitor and regulate winding machine speed to ensure even winding.
• Adjust tension and inspect material for quality; stop machine for splices.
• Follow plant safety and environmental guidelines and procedures.
• Set up winder with the proper program for orders and thread up machine as required.
• Observe operation and detect malfunctions; operate according to specifications.
• Maintain clean work area and assist teammates as needed.
• Communicate production information to the next shift and supervisor.
• Participate in training of new operators.
