• Observe operation of machine to detect and correct malfunctions.
• Operate the Winder in accordance with job specifications.
• Guide rolls onto conveyor.
• Assist crew members and work in a team environment.
• Help meet or exceed production, waste and quality goals.
• Keep work area clean throughout shift.
• Assist in training new operators.
• Communicate all production/winder related information to next shift Winder or Shift Supervisor.
• Special projects and assignments as business dictates.

Once the machine has started, you will need to monitor and regulate the speed of the winder to ensure even winding, adjust tension and examine material for quality and stops machine when splices reach the winder.**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**1. Adhere to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies and procedures2. Sets up Winder with proper program for the order3. Makes adjustment(s)and thread up machine as required4.
