Job summary

Nidec Motor Corporation in Lexington, VA seeks a Windings Operator for the First Shift to operate equipment and perform tasks to complete windings and winding components in electrical motors, following established guidelines and safety practices.

  • Must have the ability to plan and perform a sequence of operations where standard operational methods are available.

Responsibilities

  • Checks process sheets for spans, proper coil groups, insulation class, etc.
  • Sets up equipment to proper specifications, using correct tooling.
  • Makes general decisions as to quality of product and adjusts as necessary.
  • Ensures proper materials, assembly techniques, and tolerances are met.
  • Exercises good housekeeping in work area.
  • Observes good safety practices in performance of job.
  • Performs other job duties as assigned by Supervisor or Team Leader.
