Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions, a division of Amphenol Corporation, seeks an Engineering Systems Engineer to support PLM and AI-enabled engineering initiatives. You will manage Windchill, BOMs, and CAD integration, improving data quality and standardization.

The role requires collaboration across global teams in the US, China, India, and beyond. You will drive process improvements, user training, and AI readiness for engineering workflows, enabling enterprise search and AI tool integration

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline with related field experience.
• Minimum 3 years in PLM, engineering systems, or related role.
• Experience with Windchill PLM or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of ECR/ECN, BOM management, and CAD-PLM integration.
• Experience with Creo or CAD systems and CAD-to-PLM integration.
• Understanding of engineering data structures, metadata, revision control, and workflows.
• Strong English communication skills for global collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Support Windchill PLM operations, user access, and system configuration.
• Troubleshoot PLM issues, data synchronization, and workflow problems.
• Assist in Engineering Change Management (ECR/ECN) and BOM management.
• Manage engineering documents, revisions, approvals, and releases.
• Support Creo-Windchill integration and CAD data management.
• Improve data quality, standardization, and training across PLM systems.
• Collaborate with global teams (engineering, IT, AI) to resolve issues.
