Job summary

DTE Energy is seeking a Wind Technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on wind turbines and related equipment in Michigan. You will inspect, operate, and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems while documenting conditions and adhering to health and safety procedures.

Qualified candidates will have a High School diploma or GED with wind experience or an Associate degree/wind certificate with one year of wind experience, plus experience with AC/DC electrical systems

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with three years of wind experience OR
• Associate degree or Wind Certificate including one year of wind experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs inspections, operations and maintenance of wind turbine equipment.
• Identifies equipment outside normal operating limits and documents conditions.
• Maintains records with precise measurements and follows safety procedures.
