DTE Energy is seeking a Wind Technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on wind turbines and related equipment in Michigan. You will inspect, operate, and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems while documenting conditions and adhering to health and safety procedures.
Qualified candidates will have a High School diploma or GED with wind experience or an Associate degree/wind certificate with one year of wind experience, plus experience with AC/DC electrical systems

Testing Required: Wind Technician Climbing and Lifting Assessment
Performs preventative maintenance and corrective maintenance onwind turbines and related equipment, including inspections, operations, and repairs. Handles inspections, operations, and repairs, including mechanical, electrical and hydraulic equipment. Documents adverse turbine conditions and malfunctions and ensures adherence of health and safety procedures. Span of control: 0; individual contributor.
