Job summary

Vestas American Wind Technology in the United States seeks a Wind Site Technician to ensure the reliable operation of wind turbines through hands-on maintenance, fault diagnosis, and proactive issue resolution. You’ll join a safety‑conscious team, perform inspections, document activities, and collaborate to improve turbine performance.

Candidates with wind tech certs or related mechanical/electrical experience are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Wind turbine experience or wind technician certificate is required.
• 1 year of wind turbine experience or 2 years in mechanical/electrical fields.
• Safety-conscious and team oriented.
• Physically fit and able to work at heights.
• Able to read and follow English instructions.
• High school diploma, valid driver's license, and authorization to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair wind turbines with your team to keep communities powered.
• Adhere to safety protocols and perform safety inspections.
• Collaborate with your team to improve turbine performance and share best practices.
• Document your work and continuously improve operational processes.
• Accurately time code all work activities to support tracking of duration and efficiency.
