Job summary

Vestas is seeking a Service Technician SKT (m/f/d) for wind turbines in Kaufungen. The role entails team-based inspection and maintenance of turbine systems, with a focus on safety and high-quality workmanship.

You will document activities digitally and contribute to performance improvements. The position offers a permanent contract with IG Metall-aligned pay, extensive onboarding, and opportunities for professional advancement through the Vestas Academy.

Qualifications

• Vocational training in electrical engineering, electronics, or industrial mechatronics with EFK permission or energy/building technology.
• Prepare and document technical reports independently.
• Place of work varies within region; weekend home return.
• Familiar with Microsoft and iOS OS and apps; SAP experience is a plus.
• Comfortable working at heights and safe operation.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and maintain climb assist systems, lifts, cranes, and winches as part of a team.
• Carry out modification measures to enhance turbine performance.
• Document work digitally in a simple, efficient way.
