Job summary

TAKKION TP&L Holdings LLC seeks an O&M Field Technician to perform and oversee wind turbine operations, maintenance and repair in a field and shop environment, with safety and efficiency as priorities.

Candidates must live within 45 miles of Miller, SD; be able to climb ladders to 300+ feet; lift up to 100 pounds; have a valid driver’s license; and willing to travel overnight for training. HS Diploma or GED required; secondary education preferred.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Secondary education highly preferred.
• Two to five years of wind energy or related industry experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook; ability to learn new software applications.

Responsibilities

• Major components / Up tower gearbox repair / Generator bearing replacements / borescoping / inspections.
• Contributes to team effort and maintains quality service.
• Keeps fully informed of current wind industry developments, regulations and company procedures.
