Job summary

TAKKION seeks an O&M Field Technician to oversee operations, maintenance, and repair of wind turbines, ensuring safety and efficiency in all tasks. The role requires living within 45 miles of Humboldt, IA, and willingness to climb tall ladders, work in confined spaces, and lift up to 100 pounds.

Must hold a HS diploma or GED, with 1–5 years in wind energy or related fields. Valid driver's license and overnight travel for training are required. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Secondary education highly preferred.
• 1–5 years of wind energy or related industry experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook; ability to learn new software.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine Operations and Maintenance activities on wind turbines daily, including troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
• Adhere to safety requirements; work in field and shop environments.
• Travel overnight for safety training and other required activities.
• Contribute to team effort and maintain high quality service.
• Stay informed on wind industry developments, regulations, and company procedures.
